I guess the blog name is a bit of a misnomer, as I am technically not a mommy yet, but here's to the power of positive thinking...
This is the first month of our trying to conceive.
I hope to use this space to vent some of my joys and inevitable frustrations with this process, as well as with the eventually outcome of this effort. I have become a little (a lot) obsessive about conception, and I swear, with all of the tempuratures and timing and planning and positions that make it possible, it's a wonder that the species has been able to perpetuate itself this long. You would never dream that someone half my age can accomplish this feat in the basement of her parents house by accident.
